Scully starred in the hit film The Breakfast Club

1986
Scully visits with Johnny Carson

1986 Scully guest starred as Blanche's love interest Charlie on two episodes of the Golden Girls during the 1986 season.
(l)Charlie faces Rose & Dorothy on the popular game show Jeopardy. (r) Blanche gives a thankful Charlie a duffle bag for Christmas.

1986-1990
Scully's first full- time television role, as the wacky neighbor "Fred" on the sitcom Alf

1989
Scully received a star on the Hollywood walk of fame

1990
Scully's returned to theatres, starring in Top Gun II after Tom Cruise declined.
The film was a box office dud. Scully has not appeared on the big screen since.

July 1991
Scully opened a strip club in Salt Lake City, UT as his acting options dried up.
The establishment was closed in August 1991 for violating several local ordinances, including operating a strip club in Salt Lake City, UT.

1992
Scully's band, the Scullbees, featuring the bee girl from the Blind Melon video, released a Halloween album.
The album was popular with critics, earning three Grammy nominations for the single Scary Night, but not the public, never cracking the Billboard Hot 100.

1997
Scully appears with another former 1980's star, the California Raisin, at a South Dakota State Fair

1999 Unable to gain access to the studios either as a guest or to sit in the audience, Scully panhandled to raise airfare home from both Burbank & NYC.
Rather than spare change, red headed funnyman CarrotTop gave Scully a one fingered salute before entering the CBS studios.

2000
In June 2000 Scully launched a personal website, www.dmsjr.com. He appeared on Space Ghost Coast To Coast to promote it,
his first television work in 10 years.

2002

2002
Completing the comeback, Scully released his second album,The Country Bears: Will Work For Food.
The album is a benefit for the Country Bears, who's movie debut in the summer of 2002 tanked tremendously.
