Who is dressed like a chicken???

This article from the June 21, 2002 issue of MovieLine magazine suggests it may be Brad Pitt... The caption reads 'Before revealing his six-pack abs in 1991's Thelma & Louise, the two-time Sexiest Man Alive covered them up in a chicken suit hawking El Pollo Loco restaurants.'

I acquired the chicken costume in September 2002. Since then, the chicken has been showing up in random high profile places. First, Rebecca Robertson tells me she sees a giant chicken handing out flyers for a restaurant in Boston. Next, a commercial for the movie Porn 'N Chicken on Comedy Central features two men dressed in chicken costumes. Then, a commercial for Carnation breakfast bars ends with a man looking in a mirror wearing a chicken suit saying, "Now it's time to fly." Finally, I hear on the news that a former stripper who would undress from a chicken costume is running for office in Florida. Am I an innovator, starting a fad, or is this all just a weird coincidence?
update: October 13, 2002 In last night's Saturday Night Live, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, in a skit parodying a Christina Aguilera video, a person in a chicken costume appears on stage.
